Sale & Purchase
We are active in the newbuilding, secondhand and demolition markets.
For secondhand, we have been involved in the sale of various kind of ships including bulkers, containers, tankers, chemicals, cruisers, ro-pax, ro-ro, fast ferries and tugs.
For the newbuilding, we are well placed with the main Italian and International builders and we have finalized several newbuilding orders for account of our close clients, with main focus on China market where over the last 20 years we have managed to establish a very strong presence and close connection with the major shipyards.
For the demolition, we have direct access to the main reliable cash-buyers and green certified recycling facilities.
Chartering
We are active in dry cargo chartering, from handysize to capesize, having a good portfolio of well known shipowners, charterers and operators.
We also take care on exclusive basis of the chartering and
post-fixture of some dry cargo ships belonging to close principals.
We are also engaged in container vessel chartering, mainly for period, thanks to our relationship with leading container liner company.
Lastly, we are very often involved in the chartering of ro-pax and ro-ro as we are very close to leading Italian and European companies.
Cruise Ferry Passenger
We consider this such as a niche market and we are proud to say that we have achieved a great expertise and fantastic results in
ro-pax, ro-ro, fast ferries and cruise segment, being very close to many leading Italian and European companies for whom we act as preferred brokers whenever they have to sell, buy or charter this kind of ships.
Commercial Agency
In addition to the pure competitive brokering, we also offer a
full-service package to some customers, not only acting as their exclusive brokers for their Sale & Purchase and Chartering activity but also as commercial agents by taking care of operative and post-fixture matters including the supervision of the technical management or of the bunker supply, whenever required by the customers.
Financial Consulting
We are often required by Italian banks to provide professional consultancy as advisors for shipping-related matters and projects of their customers and in 2005 we were even selected by HSH Nordbank of Hamburg (being at that time the leading ship-financing bank) to promote its lending services within the Italian shipping market, achieving very positive results during the 5 year cooperation.
Today, through our consolidated contact in Shanghai, we may offer professional assistance to qualified shipowners for obtaining financing facilities from the leading Chinese leasing companies as well as ECA policy financing.
