During the last years we have increased our activity in the New Building sector, any type of vessels, from  dry cargo bulkers to tankers, from passenger ships to container ships, either with European yards  or in China, South Korea and Japan.
As matter of facts in 2007 Unitramp has been one of the most successful shipbroking companies in Europe  and the first one in Italy in terms of finalized New Building orders.
We are particularly proud to say that we are the brokers who managed to conclude the biggest New Building deal ever done in Italy and probably in Europe creating a pool of few selected, experienced and very close Owners and placing on their account a joint order of 28x 92,500 dwt Post Panamax bulkers  for delivery as from 2009 up to 2011 with one of the most modern and reliable shipyard in China. At same time and in the same shipyard we also ordered 7x7,600 dwt MPP ships still for account of our local shipowners.
Furthermore among our New Building  deals recently concluded  we also secured 3x 176,00 dwt Cape Bulkers fro Messers. Deiulemar and 2x 320,000 dwt VLCC Tankers in South Korea for Messers. Dolphin Tanker (i.e. the tanker joint venture between the two well know shipping companies Fratelli D’Amato  and Scerni Group ) plus a good number of handy size bulkers in South Korea for clients such as Messers. Perseveranza , Messers. D’Amato di Navigazione and Messers. Siba.
Of course this New Building deals allow us also to take care of the long term chartering of some of the vessel s ordered via us.
